The Plant Nucleic Acid Extraction kit purifies nucleic acid from various plant materials using silica column technology. It has been developed to perform with common New Zealand sample types, including pine needles and cambium, grapevine and kiwifruit. The kit extracts both DNA and RNA, so it is suitable for gDNA, gene expression and pathogen detection workflows. Downstream applications include PCR (Endpoint, Real-Time PCR, RT-qPCR), Gel Electrophoresis and Sequencing (Sanger, short-read and long-read).
