Prism 2X Hot-Start PCR Mastermix is optimised for high-yield amplification from 0.1–3 kb DNA targets. The mix shows excellent PCR specificity and sensitivity for a broad range of amplicons. Prism 2X Hot-Start PCR Mastermix is resistant to PCR inhibitors, such as blood (up to 20%), Ethanol, and humic acid enabling PCR amplification from DNA templates with carryover of PCR inhibitors. Prism 2X Hot-Start PCR Mastermix contains pure Hot-Start DNA Polymerase, high-quality dNTPs and optimized PCR buffer; thus, only template, PCR primers and PCR grade water are added.
